JACKSON COUNTY, MI – It’s not going to look the same, but Jackson County students are headed back to school this week.
Students in Jackson Public Schools start Tuesday, Aug. 25, while others head back on Wednesday or Thursday.
Schools within the Jackson County Intermediate School District don’t have to wait to start until after Labor Day, due to a waiver granted by the Michigan Department of Education. That waiver runs through the 2021-22 school year.
Our Jackson Citizen Patriot/MLive photographers will check out a few schools on Tuesday and Wednesday, but we want to see your photos, too. Whether you have a kindergartner or senior in high school, snap a picture and send it to us.
Simply go to the Jackson Citizen Patriot Facebook page anytime Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and go to the post asking for back-to-school photo submissions. You can submit your photo in the comment section of the post.
