If we were to put together the perfect New England digital scrapbook for 2020, we’d know just where to look for inspiration. Boston.com reader-submitted photos have been coming in hot for the entirety of the year. In 2020, readers sent in striking photos from across New England bonding us together and allowing some to virtually travel and see readers’ favorite spots or discover hidden views only a local resident might know about.

Fewer crowds also meant opportunities for beautifully vacant shots of a city normally bustling with people.

More time spent at home provided many with infinite opportunities to capture the perfect pet portrait.

Summer fun was reimagined in many ways during the pandemic, but readers still spent cherished summer memories together.
