BORDENTOWN, NJ -- Because of the ongoing pandemic, Senior year of high school, for the second year in a row, is not looking or feeling like many had hoped. Traditional trips, activities and "rites of passage" are forced to once again be canceled, and learning is "hybrid", and sometimes even all-remote.
However, that is not stopping a group of Bordentown Regional High School parents from making this year as positive as possible for the Class of 2021. The parents came up with the idea to send "Winter Grams" to BRHS Seniors to send smiles to the students and to let them know that they are cared about.
Each Winter Gram is $1 each, and the sender can choose to send a plain Hershey bar, a package of Skittles or a bag of white cheddar popcorn (or all three!) to the Senior's house with a positive message and words of encouragement. Any profit from the project will be put towards any future Senior events, or donated to the Senior class through their advisors.
Orders are due this Wednesday, January 20, and delivery to the students will be on Sunday, January 24. Payment is accepted via Venmo or in cash sent to the High School.
To order Winter Grams, fill out the Google Doc HERE.
