GOLDEN GATE
A robbery that took place at a gas station in Golden Gate led to a crash in Broward County.
Collier County Sheriff’s deputies say that early Friday morning after suspects robbed a delivery driver at the Sunoco at 11825 Collier Blvd.
They say the suspects then left the scene and led deputies on a car chase down Alligator Alley. The suspects’ car eventually crashed in Broward County.
Both suspects were taken into custody by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and may face charges of robbery and grand theft.
Neither the names nor pictures of the suspects have been released yet.
This robbery and the subsequent chase are still under investigation.
