Syracuse, N.Y. — Violence overnight in three parts of Syracuse sent four people to the hospital. All victims are expected to survive, according to a police spokesman.
Within the space of three hours late Friday and early Saturday, 29-year-old woman was stabbed, a 27-year-old man was shot multiple times, a 33-year-old man was shot in the leg, and a 23-year-old man showed up at Upstate University Hospital with a gunshot wound after gunfire erupted at nearby Dablon Court.
Police arrived at the 900 block of North Townsend Street regarding a stabbing around 11:06 p.m. They found the woman with a stab wound to her midsection and leg. She was taken to Upstate Hospital, and police are still investigating.
Around 12:13 a.m., police arrived to the 100 block of Mariposa Street for a shooting call. They found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his midsection. He was taken to Upstate Hospital, police said.
And around 1:06 a.m., police arrived to the 100 block of Dablon Court for a shooting call. Multiple witnesses called 911 regarding shots fired in the area.
Police arrived to find a 33-year-old man shot in the leg, and he was taken to the hospital. Four vehicles were struck with gunfire, as well as a home, according to police. Police also found several bullet casings at the scene.
A short time later, a 23-year-old man arrived in a private vehicle with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said.
